Ivan has been painting since the 1990s and isestablishinghimself as an artist of note. Healmost alwayspaints in the natural ochres that he collects and grinds himself. The colours are outstanding.
Warradjan, the pig-nosed turtle, is a freshwater turtle. As they are native to the Northern Territory and New Guinea, they have been a food source for locals in this area for generations. They are hunted by the locals at billabongs and rivers, they make good tucker.
