Abel Naborlhborlh is a highly regarded painter around Kakadu and Oenpelli. He has helped with several different projects to get his local art recognized around Australia and around the world. He was taught how to paint by his uncle a renowned artist by the name of Joshua Bangarr. He often can be seen painting various different images including yawk-yawks (mermaids), ginga (crocodiles) and his family dreaming, the Kakadu plum.
