Collection: Lindsay Mace
Lindsay learned to paint from his father, Ronnie Mace. He paints in the Ramingining style with thick brush strokes and bold colours. Lindsay only began painting in 2012 and since then has become a regular at Injalak Arts. His work is characterised by blocks of bright colour, sinuous shapes and balanced compositions.
He paints both Dhuwa and Yirritja subjects which include mimih spirit men, goanna at a place called Gatji (Dhuwa), long necked turtles, waterlillies and barramundi (Yirritja).
